Kirrienne
Physiotherapist & Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner
Kirrienne is a qualified Physiotherapist and Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner. She began her career as a Remedial Massage Therapist 15 years ago before realising she wanted to be able to do more for her clients, leading to the decision to go back to university to study Physiotherapy.
Graduating in 2020, Kirrienne was naturally drawn to the specialty of Lymphoedema, having learned about lymph drainage during her years as a massage therapist. She is now an advanced lymphoedema practitioner and registered with the Australasian Lymphology Association. She has been working in the Lymphoedema program at Grampians health, both in outpatient services and the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC).
She is very passionate about lymphoedema and oncology rehabilitation, particularly creating awareness about the importance of early intervention. She is also very passionate about working with women who have been diagnosed with Lipoedema; a condition that is not well known and often dismissed. Women with Lipoedema have spent years searching for a diagnosis and it is Kirrienne’s mission to help advocate for these women and for more awareness about the condition itself.
