Lymphoedema and oncology rehabilitation focus on supporting people before, during and after cancer treatment. Care may assist with managing swelling, improving mobility, reducing discomfort, supporting recovery after surgery, and helping individuals regain confidence and quality of life following treatment.

Lymphoedema Physiotherapy

Lipoedema
- Assessment and diagnosis of Lipoedema
- Compression garment prescription if appropriate
- Education about the condition and the best way to manage it.
- Sequential Intermittent Pneumatic compression (SIPC) pump

Oncology/Cancer Physiotherapy
- Restore restricted range of motion post-surgery, radiation
- Treatment for cording, radiation fibrosis, scar tissue

- Graduated exercise program that is tailored to the individual and considers the types of treatment you’ve had and how it has and will continue to affect you.
- Compression prescription if appropriate

Kirrienne
Physiotherapist & Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner
Kirrienne is a qualified Physiotherapist and Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner with a strong passion for supporting individuals living with lymphoedema, lipoedema and those recovering from cancer treatment.
Her journey in healthcare began over 15 years ago as a Remedial Massage Therapist. Through her work with clients, Kirrienne developed a desire to further expand her skills and provide more comprehensive care, leading her to return to university to study Physiotherapy. After graduating in 2020, she was naturally drawn to the specialty area of lymphoedema management, having gained an early appreciation for lymphatic drainage and its benefits throughout her massage therapy career.
Kirrienne is an Advanced Lymphoedema Practitioner and is registered with the Australasian Lymphology Association. She has extensive experience working within the Lymphoedema Program at Grampians Health, providing care across outpatient services and the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC).
She is particularly passionate about lymphoedema and oncology rehabilitation, with a strong focus on education, early intervention and empowering clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. Kirrienne understands the significant physical and emotional impact these conditions can have and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs.
Kirrienne is also a dedicated advocate for women living with lipoedema, a condition that is often misunderstood, underdiagnosed and frequently dismissed. She is passionate about raising awareness, improving understanding and helping women access the support, education and treatment they deserve. Her goal is to ensure her clients feel heard, supported and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.
